The "Carquinyols" biscuits are dry pasta, made ​​with eggs, sugar, flour and chopped toasted almonds. It not is a unique pasta from Menorca, also are produced in Catalonia, many valencian counties and some corners of Italy. But it is noteworthy that those of Menorca are different in their characteristic appearance, square shape, and their texture, crunchy but not become hard as those made ​​elsewhere.
