The black "Butifarrón" is a sausage elaborated with lean meat at which it adds blood collected in the slaughter, fats and offal cooked, chopped and mixed with white bacon or "xulla",  exclusively from pigs reared in Menorca (porc faixat). Once you have added salt and spices in the sausage is introduced in a fine membrane and it is boiled again.

Embotits Raima elaborate this product in a process that preserves traditional patterns that make this an almost artisan product.

It is usually eaten cooked, combined with other foods and sometimes with sobrasada, but can also be eaten raw.

 

Presented in pieces ± 0.200 kg, with vacuum packaging.
