The "sobrasada" is the more typical sausage of Menorca which, as other products of Embotits Raima, are elaborated exclusively with meat from pigs reared in our island (porc faixat). Has a reddish color because it contains red pepper, which gives exquisite aromas. Its main feature, that sets them apart from those developed elsewhere, is its thin consistency, making it suitable both for spread on bread and to incorporate in the preparation of dishes such as stews, and even in other typical products of the island such as sweet "cocas".

Raima produces this "sobrasada" in format of poltrú (caecum) and classic sausage, without changing its ingredients, obtains uniques flavors and textures due to different degrees of curing, that for this variety occurs between 1 and 4 months. And always respecting the guidelines of the artisan tradition for the process and meeting the strictest requirements in quality control.


Presented in sausage ± 0.400 kg, with vacuum packaging.
